Ataris leader Kris Roe has done it again producing Bad Story, Happy Ending, USELESS I.D.'s remarkable pop punk full length release; the Israeli quartet's first for Kung Fu Records. Two guitars, a bass, and a drummer combine with excellent vocal harmonizing and infectious melodies to create a sound that some are calling the Jewish MxPx. Over 25,000 Kung Fu customers bought their Kung Fu split CD with the Ataris, Let it Burn, last year and the feedback was so positive we signed the band to a multi-record Kung Fu deal and put them on a tour of Europe with the Ataris and the Vandals to jump start the band's campaign to rise above the pop punk fray on the world stage. These 15 songs of love and homesickness emanating from deep in the Middle East (think No Use For A Name with a slight accent, and yes, they sing in English) are a wonderful reminder of how small the world is getting as well as how good the Kung Fu roster is getting.
