'Outlaw' is an album that appropriately displays the natural evolution of a band that is willing to explore various musical avenues. With their second EP, 'Outlaw' has the trio venturing further and further into to more prog-like elements while still maintaining a straight-forward, meditative sound. Travis X. Abbott's fuzz-saturated riffs and intricate guitar work blend well with Jacob Fredrickson's thunderous, lyrical bass lines. With Chris Santiago holding down the rhythm, 'Outlaw' possesses many tracks that could easily be put into some odd, epic film soundtrack.
