Drastic Plastic Records is a label guided by it's mission to re-release on vinyl the most seminal punk and post-punk records, complete withpainstaking recreations of art, packaging and sound reflecting each records' original release. We are proud, however, to announce our firstoriginal release: A 7" single by punk outfit Bullet Proof Hearts entitled "American Custom." While we are devoted to our mission, this was too good not to press. The B-side is the band's cover of Glen Matlock's (Sex Pistols, Rich Kids) "Apparently." the band's hard-driving rock and hooky guitars make for catchy songs and a uniquesound that pays homage to the best of the genre: The Ramones and Johnny Thunders come to mind.
