Killin Me Kid are an indie rock band from Boise, Idaho. Jesse Moneyhun (guitar/vocals) started the band in 2019 with high school friend Wil Sexton (bass), later adding Jackson DiNucci (drums) to the lineup. Current members include Jesse, Jackson, Kale Brown (guitar), and Gary Brock (bass). Killin Me Kid was formed over a mutual love of 90s grunge and indie rock, as well as 60s pop rock. Their music has been compared to The Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr., and Queens of the Stone Age. Before COVID, Killin Me Kid were slated to open for several touring artists, and scheduled to perform two sets at Boise's Treefort Music Festival 2020. Since then they have been performing virtual shows, finishing up songs for their second album, and working on their sets for Treefort 2021.
