Static Lane rides the line between blues-rock and indie music like no band has before. Each member has his own distinct background not just in music but in life as well. Jake Roecker (drums) is an outstandingly technical player, he draws inspiration from heavy metal, jazz, and many other genres; he weaves a unique blend into his playing. Aidan Bruesch (bass) has his instrumental roots in Latin and Jazz swing. Collin McAdams (lead guitar and vocals) draws inspiration from influential blues and rock players throughout the decades, chief among them: Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Slash. Michael Cerovski (rhythm guitar and vocals) dips his toes into all manner of musical styles; He draws from indie, blues, southern rock, and heavy metal of the mid to late seventies. An unlikely combination that under most circumstances would have disastrous results, though Static Lane seems to be pulling it off.
