After successful albums such as 1972 and Nashville, Subtitulo is heavily influenced by Josh's move to Spain. Having spent many years in central Tennessee, Josh packed up his bags and immersed himself into the lifestyle and customs of the Spanish culture, emerging with Subtitulo. This influence shines throughout the upbeat tenor within each song on the new album.Reviews:
Rouse is apparently quite influenced by his surroundings. He recorded his breakthrough album, Nashville, while living in Tennessee. Now, have relocated to Spain, he sponges up some influence from his new environs, as the album title suggests. The first single, "Quiet Town," is a tribute to his new hometown, Altea.
