About This Release

Miami Horror, led by Australian-born, LA-based producer Benjamin Plant, returns with a poignant new album after a nine-year hiatus. The upcoming record is a deeply personal exploration of childhood, growing up, and the universe's interconnectedness. Inspired by Plant's lifelong fascination with the cosmos, the album delves into existential themes and the human condition. The album sees Miami Horror collaborating with a myriad of exciting Australian collaborators including Telenova, Tim Ayre, Woodes, Beckah Amani, Ngaiire, and ARIA-nominated producer Styalz Fuego (Troye Sivan, Tate McCrae, The Knocks), amongst other international names like RAC, Robotaki, Ayoni, and more. Miami Horror's latest work marks a return to artistic freedom. Plant, embracing modern sampling techniques, incorporates disco, soul influences, and even movie snippets to create a cohesive narrative experience. This album transcends individual tracks, offering a sonic odyssey that reflects on the human experience and the enduring power of music to connect us all. TRACKLISTING: 1. Aurora 2. Dead Flowers 3.
