Reviews:

''State of Shock'' is a 1979 rock album by Ted Nugent, released by Epic Records.

A live performance of "Paralyzed" has appeared on the show Fridays.

''State Of Shock'' closed a decade in which Nugent took his "caveman" persona to the top of the charts. It also proved to be one of the last albums Nugent would issue for some time that resembled the raw and unrefined rock of his mid-'70s heyday.

In the next decade he would attempt to break the pop-metal market, both solo and as a member of the all-star outfit Damn Yankees. The best known track remains the gonzo album opener "Paralyzed", which would turn up again a year later on ''Great Gonzos!: The Best of Ted Nugent'', while other highlights include "Saddle Sore" and "Alone". - Wikipedia
