More Info:

Cited as a pioneer of country rock, this singer/songwriter/musician's intense, short-lived career (he died at 26) included stints with the Shilos, International Submarine and the Byrds, but it was his LPs as a Flying Burrito Brother that forged his icon status, earning him respect among hardcore traditionalists. This 1973 radio concert/broadcast features Parsons and Fallen Angels Emmylou Harris and Jock Bartley in peak form. Highlights of the 12-track set include hot versions of "Drug Store Truck Drivin' Man," "Big Mouth Blues" and "Six Days on the Road."
