One of the last great metal hair bands to have major mainstream success, Skid Row was formed in the late '80s by former Bon Jovi guitarist Dave Snake Sabo and bassist Rachel Bolan. With flamboyant, photogenic and controversial front man Sebastian Bach on lead vocals, the group had a breakthrough smash with 1989's 18 And Life, a #4 Billboardr single. The same year, I Remember You hit #6, and the video for Youth Gone Wild would soon become an MTV sensation.
