Dutch musician Rutger Zuydervelt put together a 7" and instead of opting for the old classic of one track per side, he coughed up eight one minute tracks; a selection of love songs for the springtime. Odd? Definitely. "Er Op Uit" starts things off with some gorgeous melodica tinkering, "Blij Blij Blij" is led by handclaps, and "Fiets en Lang's de Dijk" is an airy floating synth melody played over looping toy drum machine sounds. And that's just a taste of things to come. Machine fabriek puts the love back into electronic music.
