1 Fille & 4 Types is the eighteenth studio album by Céline Dion, released in October 2003 as a collaborative project with prominent French singer-songwriters Jean-Jacques Goldman, Gildas Arzel, Jacques Veneruso, and Erick Benzi. Moving away from her signature dramatic pop power ballads, the album features a more stripped-back, organic artistic direction heavily influenced by folk, country, and acoustic rock. It achieved massive commercial success in French-speaking markets, debuting at number one in France, Canada, and Belgium on the strength of hit singles like "Tout l'or des hommes."
