More Info:

The Pentangle's 1972 album 'Solomon's Seal' presented in a superb new master with bonus tracks as a 2CD Deluxe Edition. Compiled by Pentangle expert and Bert Jansch biographer Colin Harper with all audio newly mastered by Eroc at The Ranch. Includes notes from Pentangle reunion PR and acclaimed author Mick Houghton that draw on a new interview with singer Jacqui McShee. 'Solomon's Seal' was the last album released by The Pentangle before their 1973 split and features all five original members: Bert Jansch (vocals/guitar), Jacqui McShee (vocals), John Renbourn (vocals/guitar), Danny Thompson (double bass) and Terry Cox (drums). Extras include an exceptional complete BBC Sound Of The 70s session featuring live versions of five of the album tracks, live recordings from the Guildford and St. Albans concerts on Pentangle's Autumn 1972 tour and soundtrack recordings from Christian The Lion and the Shell Oil documentary On Any Day, the latter previously unreleased and long believed lost. Ten of the thirteen live tour recordings are also previously unissued. Also includes John Renbourn's version of the traditional folk song and album favourite 'Willy O' Winsbury' from Renbourn's album 'Faro Annie'.
