More Info:

Originally released in 2000, 'Stories from the Silver Moon Cafe' was the second album of original material to be issued on Mickey Newbury's Mountain Retreat label. In typical Newbury style, the album was inspired by and titled after a song that appeared on it's predecessor, 'Lulled by the Moonlight', and featured much the same group of musicians, including Nashville legends Gene Chrisman, Roger Hawkins, Reggie Young and Mike Elliot, as well as guitarist Jack Williams, who regularly accompanied Mickey on live dates.
