Born in South Africa on March 4, 1932, Miriam Makeba was a South African singer and a representative of world music!Her greatest international musical success was the song »Pata Pata« (1967). This song made it into the US charts and up to number 14 in the German charts. Miriam passed away in Italy on November 10, 2008.
