In 1993, Macabre released "Sinister Slaughter", one of the most macabre and simultaneously subversively entertaining albums in the history of extreme music. The album instantly became a classic of death metal and grindcore. "Sinister Slaughter" is a sonic chronicle of serial murders, filled with dense, aggressive riffs and violent tempo changes. Macabre plays with contrasts: between grotesque and technical precision, between horror and irony. For fans of extreme metal, it's a must-have: grimy, uncompromising, and at the same time highly original.
