Sometimes a sketch says more than a mural.' - Grant-Lee Phillips Ladies' Love Oracle may be said to be comparable to other works by Grant Lee Buffalo (particularly the more acoustic outings) and comparable, in the sparseness and spontaneity of it's production, to certain early John Lennon solo recordings as well as Robyn Hitchcock's acoustic based LP, 'I Often Dream Of Trains.'
