Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the British Goth/New Wave band's 1995 album. For the album that was to prove their swansong the Rapture was the most wildly schizophrenic and arguably most ambitious offering yet from Siouxsie & the Banshees. One half of the album was produced by Velvet Underground alumnus John Cale while the band took control of the rest - the sum total ensuring the band ended on a dizzying high. The bonus tracks on this 2014 edition feature a previously unreleased track called 'FGM' the Manhattan Mix of lead single 'O Baby' plus the hitherto unavailable, full-length version of 'New Skin', recorded for the Showgirls soundtrack. Remastered under the supervision of the band THE RAPTURE also comes with extensive new sleeve notes.
