Released following some highly visible 2003 touring, Rare Wood was the band's first commercially available release. The music was recorded in the liveliest of settings and encased in a printed rendering of handcrafted woodwork by Phil Franklin. A hyperdriven, claustrophobic ride on a swaying line, this smattering of recordings will separate the talkers from the walkers.
