Based in London, the three-piece band makes music that shifts ambitiously between frantic post-punk experimentations and heartfelt ballads that conjure a Vegas-era Elvis on an off day. The band's debut & sophomore EPs "England" and "The Valley" has seen critical press acclaim across print, web and radio outlets - praised by The Quietus, The Line of Best Fit, and BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, who heralded Famous as "the most original band in the UK right now". Central to the vibrant band scene around South London venue The Windmill, the band's brash and intense live shows have cemented their reputation as one of London's best underground acts, and undeniably placed them at the centre of this new generation of English bands.
