Soprano Anja Lehmann was born in Langenhagen near Hanover, Germany. She qualified as a logopedist, then attended singing classes at conservatories in the Rhineland Palatinate area, her teachers being Professor Peter Anton Ling and Professor Dr. Julia Bauer. She was granted a concert diploma achieving excellent grades. Anja Lehmann now works as a freelance logopedist, singing teacher, and artist. In 2004 she became a lecturer for singing at the Rhineland Palatinate music college. Professor Dr. Ludwig Striegel was born in Munich in 1954. He received training as a music teacher in that town, specializing in piano lessons. After many years of teaching at an Augsburg secondary school, he joined an educational state institute at Munich. In 1995 he received a doctorate. His dissertation examined the importance of Erik Satie in the field of musical education. In the year 2000, Ludwig Striegel became a professor of musical education at the Rhineland Palatinate music college. He is active as an author and editor of educational publications and gives public performances as a pianist.
