In 1996, God brought together a group of people who loved the Lord and wanted to lift up the name of Jesus in song. This group presently known as Serenity strongly believes that what God has put together, no man shall put asunder. Through the years, we have had our share of trials and tribulations, but we knew that if we continued to pray, no weapon formed against us would prosper because "We Found Jesus" and we "Don't Have to Weep" anymore. So we stand today, knowing in order to make it to "Heaven" on the "Morning Train" we have to keep on "Reaching for Jesus." As we minister through songs, letting "This Little Light of Mine" shine, we can say, "Lord We Are Trying" everyday to draw unsaved souls to Christ. Hills may get high and valleys wide, but we have the assurance that when we "Lay Our Burdens Down By the Riverside," that the "Same God" of yesterday, today, and forever will be right there because "He Is Lord."
