Produced by Youth, perhaps the last producer anyone would have predicted for an SCI project, UNTYING THE NOTshows an unprecedented expansion of the band's already board vision and a major change in recording and performance philosophy. MOre so than on any previsou SCI album, the range of musical styles kept broadening as the recording process went on.
