About This Release
Silver City, the debut album from Sarah Borges, is a stunning set of songs that explores American music in all it's many aspects. You'll hear everyone from Hank Williams to The Pixies in Borges' songs but it never sounds forced. Legendary producer Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, Uncle Tupelo, Hole) pulls it all together into a muscular, rocking sound that has a sometimes surprisingly tender core.
