Despite being the toast of Paris in the '50s and an important figure on the New York scene ever since, Dearie is woefully under-recorded, making her one 1964 Capitol LP all the more valuable. With arrangements by guitarist Jack Marshall, Dearie puts her stamp on gems by Cy Coleman, Marvin Fischer, Jerome Kern, Henry Mancini and Charles Trenet.
