About This Release
Inventor Harold Rhodes pays tribute in the notes to Bill Evans' mastery of Rhodes' electric piano. And Evans skillfully shifts from playing electric to acoustic and back again - sometimes within one track. But, it's "The Dolphin" that epitomizes this singular entry in Evans' celebrated discography. This rare LP is augmented here by 4 bonus tracks, culled from the remastered 18-CD the Complete Bill Evans on Verve.
