Tony Trischka has long been known for his eclectic, innovative banjo playing. After the demise of his popular band Skyline, Tony assembled a wonderful cast for the Big Dogs, a relatively short lived but spectacular combination. This CD, their only release, features superb instrumentalists, gorgeous vocals, excellent original material and good humor. Harley Allen's beautiful 'High Sierras' has recently become one of the highlights of Linda Ronstadt's album, 'Feels Like Home.'
