Clifford Brown was an American jazz trumpeter. He influenced later jazz trumpet players including Booker Little, Freddie Hubbard and Lee Morgan. He was also a composer of note: two of his compositions, "Joy Spring' and "Daahoud", have become jazz standards which are included on this 2CD compilation. These 30 songs represent Clifford Brown's greatest compositions featuring famous jazz musicians like Max Roach, Lou Donaldson, Harold Land, Percy Heath, Art Blakey, Philly Joe Jones, Elmo Hope and more.
