This landmark 1959 quintet session led by the great trombonist-composer Curtis Fuller captures the essence of it's time. Accompanied by tenor saxman Benny Golson and strong rhythm section of Tommy Flanagan on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass and Al Harewood on drums, this hard bop gem is underscored by a remarkably hip chemistry by the ensemble and highlighted by brilliant soloing.
