More Info:

The album is an offbeat, sexy, highly aggressive collection'"deceptively minimalist, groovy and never less than fascinating. "Ura Fever" is all over the place, a bass-driven Leonard Cohen crabwalk that evolves into hand-clapped, tag-team vocal delirium.

Reviews:

Sporting spiffy pink-rimmed sunglasses in promo photos, Kills frontlady Allison Mosshart looks an awful lot like Meg White. Other than the fact that these Londonites are, also, a duo, that's where the White Stripes comparisons begin and end. Their enjoyably rambling bio loosely likens them to the type of band that "comes along but once in a decade, if you're lucky' Pixies, Stone Roses, [My Bloody] Valentine, Dream Syndicate'" which is an accurate enough compendium of influences. Mosshart and co-conspirator Jamie Hince tried to lower the Boom in Los Angeles, but couldn't take the constant distractions and wound up knocking it off in boring old Michigan.
