''Reality'' is an album by the British singer-songwriter David Bowie, released in 2003. The album was well received by fans and critics and was one of Bowie's most critically acclaimed albums since ''Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)'', alongside ''Heathen''. It is his latest album to date.
Some of the lyrics found in ''Reality'' deal with Bowie's perception of a person who is coming to terms with aging. "Never Get Old" is an attempt at understanding the reasons one gets old and a declaration that one must not get old for others. "Bring Me The Disco King" is about being drawn out by someone or something and deciding whether one should be so trusting. The album also makes reference to the 9/11 attacks in "New Killer Star" and reflects that either side has the will to bring stability if either side accepts the other and does not let the media block that path.
Over the promotional period, the album was released in a variety of formats. The standard release was a single jewel case CD version, followed by the CD with a three track bonus CD in digipak format. The album was then released as a multichannel hybrid SACD, and then reissued with a bonus live DVD recorded in London. - Wikipedia
