Before J Dilla was Dilla - he was Jay Dee. One of the first things he did upon relocating to LA from Detroit was serve as the producer of the Pharcyde's sophomore effort, Labcabincalifornia. This stand out selection from that full-length is presented here with the non-album B-Side “Emerald Butterfly.” In a nod to the original blue vinyl 45 issued in 1995, the vinyl is in a blue and clear split pressing housed in a full color jacket that’s a reproduction of the original.
