Wales trio The Joy Formidable is the first band signed to Black Bell Records, the label founded by Passion Pits Ayad Al Adhamy. After selling out 4 singles over the laster year and a half in the United Kingdom, The Joy Formidable- comprised of Ritzy Bryan(vocals/guitar), Rhydian Dafydd(bass) and Matthew Thomas(drums)- is ready to hit the ground running in the US with the release of its 8 track EP A Balloon Called Moaning. Described by some as a dreamy indie pop group, TJF has been exposed to the New York City music scene supporting standout band Passion Pit, Editors, and The Tempor Tap, and played their first American headline shows earlier this year.Reviews:
