CD reissue of this solo album by the guitarist best known for his work with The Rolling Stones and The Faces. 1234 was released in 1981, after 6 months of recording in three different locations. This album is milder than previous releases and therefore more appealing to the general public. Ronnie Wood was exhausted from the demanding Stone's touring schedule. So to help him out he invited several people to complete this album, still keeping leadership with his beloved guitar and shattering voice (even though a little less rough). Amongst these people are Rolling Stone's drummer Charlie Watts and sub keyboard players Ian McLagen and Nicky Hopkins plus Bobby Keys on sax together with Bobby Womack, Devo's drummer Alan Myers and producer Andy Johns.
