Jeremy & Jessica Vess are a husband-wife duo from North Carolina. Their music draws upon influences from Ryan Adams to Civil Wars. Recorded in the studio home of Eddie Snuggs in Faith, NC, this duet is a raw take of original acoustic songs written by Jeremy. The song titled 'Can't Help Lovin' You' was written by Jeremy and Jessica as a tongue-in-cheek look into their 15 year relationship and 10 year marriage. All five songs were recorded in one evening and on most songs, one take. 'We wanted to create something that was raw and carried the energy, intensity and impromptu behavior of our live performances. We wanted something as close to us live as possible, unless it was a train-wreck, in which we would do a retake. In the end, we both were happy with the outcome and proud to release this.' -Jeremy Vess.
