This album was recorded live at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA to celebrate Sarah Peacock's purchase of masters from a former record label. Re-recording the original songs from the debut was meant to fuse Sarah Peacock's new style with the older melodies. It was a way of remembering and appreciating the past but also paving the way for the future. Sarah Peacock Live is a statement, and it says, 'These songs are who I was then, but this sound, this energy is who I am now.'
