Animation veteran John Powell (Shrek, Happy Feet, Kung Fu Panda) provides the spectacularly epic score for choir and orchestra which was nominated for an Academy Award. The theme song "Sticks and Stones" is performed by Jonsi of the Icelandic group, Sigur Ros.
