Reissue of 2016 album from the Swedish black metal band. Where Shadows Forever Reign is the sixth studio album by Dark Funeral. Where Shadows Forever Reign is the first album to feature the new vocalist Heljarmadr and the last to feature drummer Dominator. The album was recorded in Dugout Studios in Uppsala Sweden and the cover art for the album was created by legendary artist Kristian 'Necrolord' Wåhlin. Dark Funeral emerged during the second wave of black metal. Their lyrical themes have traditionally pertained to Satanism and anti-Christianity. In their earlier years, their lyrical themes usually revolved specifically around depictions of Hell and Satan. After Emperor Magus Caligula joined the band, their lyrics came to focus more on blasphemy and anti-Christian rhetoric, although there have been several exceptions to this.
