But most people either do not know how to meditate, do not know how to progress, or simply cannot repeatedly achieve successful, deep meditations. This CD is the answer. Anyone can meditate successfully if he or she follows proven techniques like the ones on this CD. These simple meditation techniques are combined in a way to produce deep relaxation, and consequently, deep meditation. However, make no mistake ... you can never force meditation, nor you can you 'think' your way into meditation. Meditation is what happens when one is not trying to make anything happen - for example, peace happens as the result of stillness. The Connect With Spirit Meditation MethodT is the proven combination of these simple meditation techniques. The techniques are fully explained on the CD, before we apply them to the two sample meditations. Here is an overview of the meditation process that we recommend: First, one must prepare for meditation, remove distractions and get comfortable. Second, set an intention for meditation. Third, balance the Chakras using the Sanskrit Chakra Sounds. Fourth, we use the Dhyana Breathing Technique to relax deeply. Fifth, quiet the mind and stop any internal dialogue. If necessary, focus on the sound of the breath going in and out. Sixth, allow your mind to drift, very much like daydreaming. Last, after meditating for 15-60 minutes, write down your experiences in a meditation journal. Write everything you saw, heard, and felt, even if they were images, feelings, or thoughts that were seemingly inconsequential, or even past memories. With practice, you will meditate and journey easily to have profound meditations. Here are some possible intentions to set before meditation: 1) Achieve peace. 2) Feel the stillness of the Universe. 3) Acquire insight into or receive messages about any situation. 4) Healing. 5) Journey to far away places - past, present, or future. 6) Meet and work with your guardian angels and spirit guides. 7) Achieve Oneness with the Divine, and so on.
