After the uninventive AOR garble of 2002's Gravity, this hyper-empathetic Toronto band discovered the Coldplay discography; the result is some of their most thoughtful, subtle and optimistic work yet. The distortion pedals pretty much take this album off, but OLP's advanced craftsmanship more than compensates.
